7a: Household and individual response rates

Paradata refer to information about how we collected and processed the data. They’re separate from the statistical data that we produce from the census.

The  household response rate is the total number of households whose details were completed on a returned questionnaire, divided by the estimate of the total number of households.

The individual response rate is the total number of usual residents whose details were completed on a returned questionnaire, divided by the estimate of the total number of usual residents.

The information you provide will be used to assess if there is sufficient user need to justify publication of household or individual response rates at lower geographies, or by other variables.  Please provide as much detail as possible to justify your data needs.
